WhatsAPPAC Automatic Voltage Regulator is another term for voltage regulator, which refers to a regulator that does not require manual intervention during the voltage stabilization process. When the voltage changes, the regulator can adjust the output voltage by itself. AC refers to a way of power supply, which is opposite to AC and belongs to DC. At present, there are only two types of current classification: alternating current and direct current.
1.The composition of a fully automatic AC voltage regulator:
The fully automatic AC voltage regulator mainly consists of a contact type autotransformer, servo motor, automatic control circuit, etc. When the voltage of the power grid is unstable or the load changes, the automatic control circuit drives the servo motor according to the change in output voltage, adjusts the position of the carbon brush on the contact type autotransformer, adjusts the output voltage to the rated value, and reaches a stable state.
2. Application of fully automatic AC voltage stabilizer:
Fully automatic AC voltage regulators are widely used for voltage regulation of electrical equipment such as computers and their peripherals, medical electronic instruments, communication and broadcasting equipment, air conditioning, industrial production lines, etc., and are also widely used for voltage regulation and protection of household appliances.
3. AC voltage regulator:
The reason why voltage regulators can change voltage is attributed to the transformer inside the regulator. Those who know about transformers know that transformers are a type of power supply device that can change AC power, and can only change AC power, not DC power. So for voltage regulators, they can only stabilize AC power. Some DC voltage regulators simply add a rectifier bridge to the output of the regulator to convert AC power into DC power. Almost all voltage regulators belong to AC output, except for a few that use detection equipment or some work that only use DC voltage regulators.
4. Automatic Voltage Regulator:
All the work of the voltage regulator is completed by the equipment through the internal processing center of the system, which detects the voltage in real time, calculates and adjusts the voltage instantly. When the voltage changes, the voltage regulator can automatically stabilize the voltage instead of manually completing it, which is also impossible to achieve manually. The voltage regulator requires manual operation to change the voltage value.
Summary: There is actually no difference between automatic AC voltage regulators and voltage regulators, it's just a difference in terminology. It refers to a device that can automatically stabilize the AC power supply.
